NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL (Legislative – LOC Hearing Date, Time, and Location: Tuesday, February 7, 2017; 6:30 p.m. City Council Chambers 380 A Avenue Lake Oswego, OR 97034 File Numbers: LU 16-0035 (Ordinance 2733) Applicant: City of Lake Oswego Nature of Application and Proposed Legislative Amendments: Legislative amendments to provide consistent designations between the Comprehensive Plan Map and Zoning Map to allow for a more accurate and predictable application of the city land use planning policy for property owners, businesses, and city officials. Amendments to the text of the Comprehensive Plan include adding definitions for Park and Natural Area (PNA) and Special Purpose-Open Space (SP). On December 12, 2016, the Planning Commission made a recommendation that the City Council approve the proposed amendments. The title of the ordinance is as follows: Ordinance No. 2733 An ordinance of the Lake Oswego City Council amending the Comprehensive Plan text, and the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning maps for the purpose of correcting the maps to correct Comprehensive Plan map designation errors, and to correctly align a parcel’s zoning with the comprehensive plan map designations (LU 16-0035).
