REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: MULTNOMAH COUNTY CENTRAL COURTHOUSE BID PACKAGE #5: DRILLED SHAFTS, WATERPROOFING, STEEL, ROOFING & FIRE SUPPRESSION PORTLAND, OR Pre-Bid Meeting: February 22, 2017 @ 8:00 am Bids Due: March 15, 2017 @ 2:00 pm Hoffman Construction Company, Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), for the new Multnomah County Central Courthouse (Project) being performed for Multnomah County (Owner) requests sub-bid proposals for Bid Package #5 – Drilled Shafts, Waterproofing, Steel, Roofing & Fire Suppression. A non-mandatory, but strongly encouraged, pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 8:00 a.m., February 22, 2017 at the Jefferson Station located at 1230 SW First Avenue, 2nd floor, Portland OR. All bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting in order to acquaint themselves with the local conditions under which the work is to be performed and to correlate personal observations with the requirements of the contract documents. Statements made at this meeting and site visit by representatives of the Contractor, Owner, Architect, Engineers, and/or others are not binding and do not change the RFP documents or bidding requirements unless such statements are confirmed by written Addendum to the RFP. PROPOSERS MUST UTILIZE THE SPEC IFIED PROPOSAL FORM. Proposals must be delivered, faxed or emailed to arrive at Hoffman Construction Company, 805 SW Broadway, Suite 2100, Portland, Oregon 97205, Bid Fax 503/221-8888, or to be submitted as a single electronic file (less than 10MB) to, no later than 2:00 p.m., March 15, 2017. A completed Subcontractor/Vendor Questionnaire including latest year-end safety and financial information must accompany the proposal unless previously submitted. Questionnaire may be attached as a separate file or submitted separately. Elaborate proposals or the inclusion of non-essential information is strongly discouraged. Proposals that are materially incomplete, do not include current Questionnaire with latest year-end safety and financial information (unless previously submitted) or are directed to other locations or received after the proposal deadline will not be considered. Proposers must be properly licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) at the time of bid. Refer to proposal documents for complete proposal requirements and additional information. Proposal documents are available from Proposers are required to file a $30,000 Public Works Bond with the CCB in accordance with ORS 279C.836 EXCEPT exemptions allowed under paragraphs (7) or (8) will not be permitted. Due to the scheduled start of the work, the $30,000 Public Works Bond must be on file with the CCB at the time of bid.
