Notice of Public Hearing

PUBLIC HEARING ITEM: Revised Notice The following will be considered by the Tigard Planning Commission at a Public Hearing on Monday June 5, 2017 at 7:00 PM and by the Tigard City Council at a Public Hearing on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at 7:30 PM at the Tigard Civic Center – Town Hall, 13125 SW Hall Blvd., Tigard, Oregon. Public oral or written testimony is invited. The public hearing on this matter will be held under Title 18 and rules of procedure adopted by the Council and available at City Hall or the rules of procedure set forth in Section 18.390.060.E. The Planning Commission’s review is for the purpose of making a recommendation to the City Council on the request. The Council will then hold a public hearing on the request prior to making a decision, tentatively scheduled for October 25, 2016. The proposed text amendment would change the allowed uses in the Washington Square Regional Center Plan District MUC zone, Table 18.520.1 Use Table: Commercial Zones, Foot Note [24], to permit Motor Vehicle Sales/Rental as a use restricted to a location north of Hwy 217 and subject to certain screening requirements. LOCATION: Within a portion of the MUC zone north of Hwy 217. ZONE: MUC: mixed use commercial district.
