NOTICE OF APPLICATION Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: Silver Springs Tree Removal TP2017-0004 The applicant, Vitaly Smirnof, A-1 Homes Inc., is seeking Tree Plan Two approval in order to remove 13 community trees on the subject site to facilitate the construction of a new single family home with associated utilities where no reasonable alternative exists. The site is located at 3015 SW 107th Ave, Tax Lots 01800 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S110DA. The site is within the R7 Residential Urban Standard Density District 7,000 (R7) zoning district and within the Central Beaverton Neighborhood Association Committee. Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in the following section(s) of the Beaverton Development Code: Tree Plan Two. Tree Plan Two applications do not require a Facilities Review meeting. However, should the applicant request it, an additional application review meeting will be held during the public comment period. The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body but advises the Director on a project’s conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Beaverton Development Code. The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public, but is not intended for public testimony. Written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in order to be addressed in the staff report. Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Current Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. The Director is the decision-making authority for the above application and shall issue a written decision on the above development proposal on or around Monday May 15, 2017 pursuant to Section 50.40.10.
