METRO KILLIN WETLAND NATURE PARK SITE IMPROVEMENTS Bids due: July 27, 2017 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3373 Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is hereby requesting sealed bids for the construction of nature park improvements at Killin Wetland natural area in Banks, Oregon. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., July 27, 2017, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Karen Slusarenko, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3373. First Tier Subcontractor forms are due from all bidders within two hours of the bid due time or the bid will be considered non-responsive. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on July 12, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at Killin Wetlands natural area, 46250 NW Cedar Canyon Road, Banks, Oregon 97106. Interested sub-contractors are also invited. Metro requires the services of an experienced contractor to construct park site and road frontage improvements such as but not limited to: Public ROW improvements; Utilities; Parking lot and bus pull out area (gravel or asphalt); Water quality swales; Restroom facilities; Learning shelter; Gravel trails; Wildlife viewing blind; Site furnishings; Fencing; Stone walls; Guardrail structures; Planting; Regulatory signage. Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at All bidders submitting a bid for public improvements over $50,000 certify that they will pay and comply with the minimum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800-279C.870 and if applicable 40 U.S.C.276a. Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
