REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: OREGON HILLS DETENTION/WATER QUALITY FACILITY MEDFORD, OR Proposals due: August 30, 2017 @ 4:00 pm Proposals for designing a stormwater detention and water quality facility in the Oregon Hills Park for the City of Medford will be received by Cory Crebbin, P.E., Public Works Director for the City of Medford, 200 S. Ivy Street, Medford, Oregon 97501, until 4:00 p.m., local time, August 30, 2017. FACSIMILE PROPOSALS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. As soon thereafter as possible, the proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by a City of Medford Selection Committee. DESCRIPTION: Proposals shall be submitted from consultants interested in designing a stormwater detention and water quality facility for the City of Medford. Background: The City’s Drainage Master Plan, dated, September 1996, recommended placement of a 30 acre-feet detention pond in the Lazy Creek basin. Oregon Hills Park, east of McAndrews Avenue, and south of Chablis Terrace, has been identified as the property where the facility will be placed. The facility will need to be compatible with the City owned park, and incorporation of park and sporting type activities is desired. The Request for Proposal (RFP) may be obtained by contacting the Engineering Division via email at publicworks@cityof medford.org or by calling (541) 774-2100. Instructions will be provided on how to obtain the RFP electronically. The RFP documents include Sections I through V more particularly described as follows: Section I: Announcement Section II: Instruction to Proposers Section III: Evaluation and Selection Process Section IV: Proposal Submission Form Section V: Detailed Specifications The City of Medford (City) may reject any and all proposals upon a finding of the City that it is in the public interest to do so. The City also reserves the right to waive any informalities in any proposal and to delete certain items listed in the proposal as set forth herein. Proposals received after the time established for receiving proposals will not be considered.
