NOTICE OF APPLICATION Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: WF2017-0010, ADJ2017-0003 Verizon Monopine at Chuck E Cheese On September 27, 2017, the City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the proposal by Verizon Wireless, to construct a new 80-foot stealth wireless monopole to be disguised as a pine tree (referred to as a monopine) and all associated ground equipment within a secure landscaped and fenced area. The applicant also requests a sixty-two and a half (62.5) foot adjustment for the setback to the western property line. The standard setback for an 80-foot wireless communication tower in the CS zone is eighty-five (85) feet. No tree removal is proposed in conjunction with the modifications described above. The subject property is zoned Community Service (CS), where new wireless communication facilities are subject to Wireless Facility Three (WF3) approval. The subject property is located at 4145 SW 110th Avenue. The approximately 2.25 acre site can also be identified as tax lot 8100 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S1-15AA. The Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the above development application on Wednesday September 27, 2017, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, Beaverton Building/City Hall, 12725 SW Millikan Way. To be addressed in the staff report and decision, written comments on the above development proposal are to be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on September 6, 2017. All submittals that are more than two (2) letter size pages must include no fewer than ten (10) complete copies of the materials being submitted. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, Beaverton Building/City Hall, 12725 SW Millikan Way. The decision-making authority for the above application is the Planning Commission.
