METRO LOADING DOCKS RENOVATION FOR THE OREGON CONVENTION CENTER Bids due: October 5, 2017 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3401 Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is hereby inviting sealed bids to renovate the loading docks at the Oregon Convention Center (OCC). Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., October 5, 2017 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3401. Bids will be opened publicly at that time. Contractor is to provide all equipment, labor and required materials necessary to: Replace 21 dock bay locking devices and bumpers Install new lock status indicator lights Reroute, repair and protest damaged and at-risk surface mounted electrical conduit Refurbish damaged concrete and exterior finishes associated with the loading dock Install new dock enclosures and skirts to seal edges of openings around vehicles to minimize drafts and exhaust inside the building A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on September 14, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the OCC Operations Meeting Room, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Portland, Oregon. Interested sub- contractors are also invited.
