Miller House Basement Sealing Project

INVITATION TO BID: MILLER HOUSE BASEMENT SEALING PROJECT METOLIUS, OR Bids due: November 1, 2017 @ 4:00 pm Sealing project of the Miller House owned by the City of Metolius, Oregon. The City of Metolius is accepting bids for the excavation and sealing of the concrete basement of the Miller House in order to prevent water damage. This is a formal bidding process. Sealed bids must be received by the City Recorder at Metolius City Hall, 636 Jefferson Ave., Metolius, Oregon 97741 no later than 4:00 p.m. on the 1st of November, 2017. The bid opening will be conducted following bid closing. Bids received after the designated time and date will not be considered. PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS 1) Contractor shall list available start and estimated completion date on request for bid. Estimated completion date shall not surpass the 15th of December, 2017. 2) All work must be performed in a workman like manner and in compliance with all federal, state, county, city, Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation rules and regulations. 3) Contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits. 4) Contractor agrees to purchase a City of Metolius Business License prior to beginning work. Prospective bidders are urged to fully review the scope of work, any required specifications, and bring any questions or comments for clarification. Bids must include a statement indicating whether the bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279.029 and agreement to comply with ORS 279C.800 to ORS 279C870 (prevailing wage requirement) No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered by the City of Metolius unless the bidders are registered with the Construction Contractors Board as required by ORS 701.035. No bid will be considered by the City of Metolius, or any officer thereof, unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder, as a part of their bid the provisions required by ORS 656.017 shall be in this contract.
