Olsson Creek Sewer Improvements

INVITATION TO BID: OLSSON CREEK SEWER IMPROVEMENTS NEWPORT, OR Bids due October 25, 2017 @ 2:00 pm Sealed bids for the construction of the Olsson Creek Sewer Improvements in the City of Newport (Lincoln County), Oregon, will be received by Olaf Sweetman, Assistant City Engineer, at 169 SW Coast Hwy, Newport, OR 97365, until 2:00 PM, October 25, 2017, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. All interested parties are invited to attend. Subcontractor declarations must be delivered to Owner as above no later than 4:00 p.m. on the day of the bid opening. The scope of work includes the following: Construction of gravity sanitary sewer and storm sewer. Construction methods include open cut and trenchless horizontal boring. Decommissioning and removal of existing sanitary pump station equipment and miscellaneous structures. Construction and removal of temporary access roads, installing and maintaining erosion and sediment control measures, dewatering, sewer bypassing as necessary, and restoration of wetland areas. Bidding documents may be examined at the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) website at: www.orpin. oregon.gov Contractors, vendors, and suppliers wishing to download the specifications and drawings may do so at the ORPIN website. All contractors, vendors, and suppliers interested in the project must register through the ORPIN website so that they may receive addenda and other bidding information that may become available during the advertising and bid period. No other entity or plan center will issue addenda. After registering with ORPIN, contractors, vendors, and suppliers desiring printed plans and specifications may purchase them from Willamette Print and Blueprint, Portland Office: 3461 Northwest Yeon Ave, Portland, OR 97210 http://www.wpbinc.com Bidding documents with full-size drawings (22×34) from WP&B cost $150.00 per set. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am, October 11, 2017. Bidders must submit a Statement of Qualifications with bid package as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.
