The Port of Vancouver is seeking responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified consultants to provide design and permitting services led by a single firm for the replacement of the Terminal 1 dock. This is a multi-year re-development program and a significant component of this endeavor is the demolition and replacement of the existing dock structure which includes the demolition of the two buildings it supports: the south wing of the former Red Lion Hotel and the original port warehouse currently operating as the Warehouse 23 Restaurant. The project will occur in a busy and highly visible downtown marine setting with adjacent development and pedestrian traffic during the time of the work. It will be the responsibility of the team to identify strategies to minimize impacts to normal operations during execution of the project.
