NOTICE OF APPLICATION Pursuant to Section 50.45.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: FS2017-0002 (WINTERS FLEXIBLE SETBACK) On April 26, 2017, the Beaverton Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider a Flexible Setback for Individual Lot Without Endorsement application, proposing to reduce the required rear yard setback from 25-feet that is standard in the R7 zone, to a 5-foot rear setback, in order to build a two story addition to the rear of the applicant’s house. The address of the site is 7215 SW Hall Boulevard, also described as tax lot 05302 of Washington County’s Tax Assessors tax map 1S122CB. The Facilities Review Committee Meeting with the applicant will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017. The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body but advises the Director on a project’s conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code of the City of Beaverton. The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public, but is not intended for public testimony. In order to be addressed within the staff report, written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Failure to raise a written issue or to provide verbal statements or evidence at the Planning Commission hearing with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the City of Beaverton Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, Beaverton Building/City Hall, 12725 SW Millikan Way. The decision-making authority for the above application is the Planning Commission.
