Estacada Planning Commission

Public Notice Notice is hereby given that the Estacada Planning Commission will hold an open meeting on Thursday, December 7, 2017 to consider the following applications. The Planning Commission will forward a recommendation to the Estacada City Council, who will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 8, 2018, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council Chambers, Estacada, Oregon, to consider the following applications: Annexation application #2017-01. The applicants, Greenworks Contractors LLC, are requesting annexation of property described as 34E, 28B, tax lot 1900 into the City limits of Estacada. The application includes a corresponding zone change from RRFF-5 (county designation) to R-1 (low density residential), consistent with the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. The property is located directly south of 32950 S Darrow Road. The application is subject to the criteria in Section 16.16, and 16.124 of the Estacada City Code and applicable policies in the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. Information regarding this application may be obtained from the City’s Planning staff representative, Glen Hamburg, Clackamas County Planning Department, 503.742.4523. Street Name Change Application #2017-03. The City of Estacada is correcting the name of East 1st Avenue from previously platted East 1st Street. ORS (Oregon Revised Statute) 227.120 requires a public hearing to give the public an opportunity for input. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on this proposed action may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Commission’s decision based upon that issue. A copy of the application and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost in the City Recorder’s Office at City Hall. Copies of the document will be provided at reasonable cost. A copy of the City’s staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the Public Hearing. The City of Estacada is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
