Public Notice Oregon Department of Transportation

PUBLIC NOTICE: The City of Molalla is currently working with the Oregon Department of Transportation to update its Transportation System Plan (TSP). The TSP is a long-range plan that guides the development of the City’s transportation system over a 20-year period. As part of the planning and public engagement process, the City will be seeking public input at two Community Meetings. The first meeting will be held on Thursday, December 7th, from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Molalla Adult Community Center. The meeting will include a short presentation by City staff and the consultants to provide an introduction to the project and an overview of the planning process. Local residents and other participants will then be free to ask questions and share their thoughts and concerns on transportation-related issues with City staff and the consultants. A series of poster boards will be used to illustrate the existing conditions and future needs associated with each of the major travel modes (ped, bike, transit, and motor vehicle). If local residents or other participants are unable to attend the meeting in person, a Virtual Community Meeting will be available on the project website ( starting Thursday, December 7th and continuing through Thursday, December 21st. The Virtual Community Meeting will offer the same opportunities to provide input as the in-person meeting via the website. Please plan on attending either the Community Meeting or Virtual Community Meeting to help guide the city’s future transportation system! Publish 11/29, 12/06/2017. MP16993
