WOODBURN FIRE DISTRICT FIRE STATION SEISMIC UPGRADE AND REMODEL / GENERAL CONTRACTOR (CM/GC) SERVICES Proposals due: January 12, 2018 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Woodburn Fire District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to assist with CM/GC services related to seismic upgrade and remodel of an existing fire station built in 1976. The work will include 60%, and 90% design review and cost estimates; coordination with District’s architect (DECA Architects) and providing a maximum guaranteed price at 90% design and construction. Copies of the Request for Proposals are on file and may be obtained free of charge from District Headquarters, by calling 503-982-2360, or by email at A mandatory one (1) hour preproposal conference will be held on Wednesday, December 13, at 1:00 pm, at the District Headquarters Training Room, 1776 Newberg Hwy, in Woodburn. The preproposal conference will provide an overview of the project and the current project status with the architect. A site visit will be provided after the conference. All proposals must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. (PDT) on January 12, 2018. Proposals not received by that time will be returned unopened. All proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes and plainly marked on the outside as Request for Proposals – Fire Station Seismic Upgrade and Remodel CM/GC Services, and bear the name of the proposer. The District may reject any Proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, and may reject any or all proposals upon a finding by the District that it is in the public’s interest to do so.
