On-Call Buildings Projects Construction Manager/General Contractor Services

TRI-COUNTY METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT OF OREGON ON-CALL BUILDINGS PROJECTS CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/GENERAL CONTRACTOR SERVICES Proposals due: January 11, 2018 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) NO. RC180104TF The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) is soliciting proposals from qualified general contractors to provide On-Call Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) Services including both preconstruction services and construction services work for various TriMet Buildings Group projects over the course of the next five (5) years. A pool of on-call CM/GC contractors will be selected based upon overall qualifications and proposals received for the Merlo Administration Building Remodel project as described in this Request for Proposals (RFP). The CM/GC contractor for the Merlo Administration Building Remodel project will be determined through this RFP No. RC180104TF process. TriMet will receive sealed proposals from interested firms at 1800 SW First Avenue, Suite 300, Portland, Oregon 97201, Attention: Tracy Franklin, Contract Administrator, until 2:00 PM on January 11, 2018. Proposals will not be publicly opened. No proposal security will be required. Performance bond and 100% labor and material payment bond on TriMet bond forms will be required when construction services are added to a task order under the resulting contracts. The Request for Proposals (RFP) documents may be obtained from the TriMet E-bid website by logging on to www.ebidexchange.com/trimet/. In order to download documents, you must be registered as a vendor in E-bid. In the event solicitation addenda are issued, only registered Proposers will be notified via email of the availability of addenda for download. Acknowledgement of addenda will be required. The projects completed under the resulting contracts will be considered public works when construction services are added to the contracts. The Merlo Administration Building Remodel project is not federally-funded and will be subject to State of Oregon prevailing wage rate laws (ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870). Any future federally-funded projects will be subject to both Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq) prevailing wage rate laws AND State of Oregon prevailing wage rate laws (ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870). .
