PORT OF PORTLAND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) ORGANIZATIONAL ASSESSMENT Responses due: February 14, 2018 @ 3:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SOLICITATION NUMBER 2018-7763 Proposals for the provision of organizational assessment of the Port’s IT department will be electronically received by the Port of Portland through the Port’s online Business Opportunities Vendor Portal until the time indicated above. The Port of Portland (Port) is seeking an independent, objective assessment of the IT department to evaluate appropriateness of organizational structures, optimize performance, improve quality, promote innovation and the effective and efficient use of resources, and to assist in the identification of future resourcing needs and sources. It is the expectation that this assessment will allow the IT department to adapt to meet the increasing needs of the Port and address the growing burden this work is placing on existing IT staff. This is particularly pressing as it relates to IT supporting the large airport capital program which includes a significant portfolio of facility construction projects. These capital construction projects will require heavy involvement of IT during design and construction and will also result in significantly more IT systems needing ongoing operational maintenance and support. No Pre-Proposal conference is scheduled. Questions Concerning this solicitation must be submitted through the Port’s on-line Business Opportunities Vendor Portal. Firms interested in receiving the solicitation document may obtain one by registering with the Port of Portland at through the Business Opportunities Vendor Portal under one of the following categories: 91800 Consulting Services, 91858 Governmental Consulting, 91866 Human Resources Consulting, 91875 Management Consulting, 91883 Organizational Development Consulting, 91890 Strategic Technology Planning & Consulting Services, 95800 Management Services, 95816 Business Management Services, 95823 Computer Management Services.
