Planning Commission annexation #2018-01

Public Notice Notice is hereby given that the Estacada Planning Commission will hold an open meeting on Thursday, April 26, 2018 to consider the following applications. The Planning Commission will forward a recommendation to the Estacada City Council, who will hold a public meeting on Monday, May 14, 2018, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council Chambers, Estacada, Oregon, to consider the following applications: Annexation application #2018-01. The applicant, Grey Properties, LLC, is requesting annexation of property described as 34E, 21, tax lots 300 & 304 into the City limits of Estacada. The application includes a corresponding zone change from RRFF-5 (county designation) to R-1 (low density residential), consistent with the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. The property is known as 30751 & 30775 SE Lawrence Road. The application is subject to the criteria in Section 16.16, and 16.124 of the Estacada City Code and applicable policies in the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. Ordinance #2018-001. An ordinance amending Chapters 16.08, 16.16, 16.26, 16.28, 16.36, 16.61, 16.76, 16.108, 16.116, and 16.124 of Title 16 – Development of the Estacada Municipal Code to: adopt accessory dwelling unit standards; modify Downtown Zone design standards and annexed nonconforming use abatement requirements; expand permitted and conditional uses in the General Commercial Zone; remove Northwest Industrial Sanctuary minimum lot size requirements; modify subdivision approval time extension procedures; provide additional definitions to existing Code terms; codify parking standards; and correct typographical errors. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on this proposed action may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Commission’s decision based upon that issue. A copy of the application and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost in the City Recorder’s Office at City Hall. Copies of the document will be provided at reasonable cost. A copy of the City’s staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the Public Hearing.
