REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS CITY OF TROUTDALE ADA TRANSITION PLAN NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS: Statements of qualifications for the City of Troutdale’s ADA Transition Plan will be sent to the City of Troutdale – Public Works, 342 SW 4th Street, Troutdale, OR 97060, and will be received by the Engineering Division, Erik R. Henricksen, telephone (503) 674-7240, e-mail INTRODUCTION: The City of Troutdale, Oregon, is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from professional firms or individuals experienced in the evaluation and development of program and facility accessibility plans. The selected firm or individual will provide consulting services to assist the City of Troutdale in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II by preparing a City of Troutdale ADA Transition Plan. PROJECT OVERVIEW: This project will identify potential noncompliant items and other physical barriers at the City buildings (13), recreational facilities (14), parking lots (3), public right-of-ways (60 miles of sidewalk), services, activities and programs. The consultant will provide evaluation services for site and program accessibility compliance to provide the basis for identification, prioritization, budgeting, and implementation of plans. The ADA Transition Plan will be used by the City in its continuing effort to comply with accessibility requirements as required by ADA Title II. In addition to the ADA Transition Plan, the Consultant will develop a database that will aid the City in monitoring implementation progress and compliance in future projects.
