PUBLIC MEETING Clackamas County Public Services Building – Wednesday, May 23, 2018

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING The Clackamas County Housing and Community Development Division will hold a PUBLIC MEETING Clackamas County Public Services Building 2051 Kaen Road – 2nd Floor, Room 288 Oregon City, Oregon Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. Clackamas County (County) seeks to establish a loan pool of approximately $11 million under the Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under 24 CFR 570, Subpart M – Loan Guarantees. A Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program would provide significant additional resources toward the development of eligible projects. The flexibility of a loan pool will allow the County to capitalize on the goals and objectives contained in our Consolidate Plan and AFH Plan. Projects funded with Section 108 loan funds would have to be eligible for Community Development Block Grant funds and be able re-pay the loans. The first project application being submitted in conjunction with the Section 108 Loan Pool Program is for the rehabilitation of the Arbor Terrace Apartments, a multi-family housing project located in Molalla. Arbor Terrace is currently owned and managed by the Housing Authority of Clackamas County. This project application is for $480,000 of Section 108 Loan Pool funds. A public meeting is scheduled for May 23, 2018 to receive testimony from citizens on the Section 108 Draft Application to HUD. The Section 108 Application is scheduled to be submitted to HUD by June 30, 2018. The draft application is available for review at the posted here: A Public Hearing with the Board of County Commissioners to close the public comment period on the Section 108 Application is scheduled for June 21, 2018. Any comments received at these public meetings will be included with the County’s Section 108 Application. For more information on the Section 108 Application process contact Mark Sirois at 503-655-8591.
