PORT OF PORTLAND MENTOR-PROTG SUPPORT SERVICES FOR SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Responses Due: June 18, 2018 @ 3:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS SOLICITATION NUMBER 2018-7791 Sealed solicitations for the provision of Bookkeeping, Marketing, and Construction Technical Assistance for Small Businesses in the Port’s Mentor-Protege Program shall be received electronically until the time indicated above. The Port of Portland (Port) is seeking proposals from experienced providers capable of providing one-on-one technical support and conduct educational workshops for proteges enrolled in the Port’s MPP. These services to protege firm participants shall result in proteges increased understanding of sound business practices in marketing, operations and finance, and lead to increased profitability, better understanding of business fundamentals and increased viability of the protege firms’ success. Provider may on occasion be required to attend MPP team meetings. The Port intends to award 3 separate contracts, one each for Bookkeeping, Marketing Services, and Construction Technical Assistance. No pre-proposal conference is scheduled. Questions Concerning this solicitation must be submitted through the Port’s on-line Business Opportunities Vendor Portal.
