CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CASE FILE NO.: PUD-006-17 VALLEY HOPE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Hillsboro Planning Commission, at or shortly after 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in the Shirley Huffman Auditorium of the Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, Hillsboro, Oregon. At this hearing, the Commission will consider a request for preliminary plat approval for a Planned Unit Development (PUD) to partition one (1) parcel into three (3) parcels on a site approximately 5.15 acres in size. The applicant intends to create two (2), new single-family parcels (Parcels 1 and 2); the existing church will remain on its own parcel (Parcel 3). Proposed Parcels 1 and 2 will be approximately 7,020 square feet in size and proposed Parcel 3 will be approximately 210,294 square feet in size. The applicant is requesting approval of Major Adjustments to the maximum lot size and the minimum density allowed in the SFR-7 Single Family Residential zone. The property owner is Valley Hope Community Church, the applicant is Robin Brooke, Valley Hope Community Church and the applicant’s representative is Trisha Clark, NW Land Planning. The subject property can be specifically identified as Tax Lot 300 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1N2-32DC and is generally located north of E Main Street, south and east of the Westside Lightrail Line and west of NE 24th Avenue. The applicable criteria for a Planned Unit Development application are included in Section 12.80.120 of the Community Development Code (CDC), and the in Section 12.80.156 for Major Adjustments.
