Proposed map amendments property between 6th and 7th St east of Butte Ave

PUBLIC HEARING The City of Metolius Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and make a recommendation to City Council on a proposed map amendment/rezone of a 4.15 acre property located between 6th and 7th Street – east of Butte Avenue. The property is currently zoned Jefferson County A-1 and located within the City Urban Growth Area. The proposed amendment is in conjunction with an application for annexation of the same subject property to the City of Metolius. The property is shown on the Jefferson County Assesor’s Maps as Tax Lot 800 on Map 11S-13E-28AD. The City will receive written comments beginning from the date of receipt of this notice through June 14, 2018 until 2:00 p.m. Comments must be submitted to the City Administrator at City Offices located at 500 West First Street, 636 Jefferson in the City. The City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at City Offices located at 500 West First Street, 636 Jefferson in the City . All interested parties are urged to attend and submit testimony. Failure to raise an issue in writing within the comment period or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes and appeal to the City Council or LUBA on this issue. The City relies on the Section 17.64.030 B – Quasi-Judicial Amendments of the Metolius Zoning Code to govern the land use process.
