Notice of Public Hearing Amendments to Woodburn Development Ordinance (WDO) to establish regulations for accessory dwelling units, modify the review timelines for needed housing and address other provisions of Senate Bill 1051 Legislative Amendment LA 2018-02 On June 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., the Woodburn Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to hear amendments to the Woodburn Development Ordinance (WDO), including Sections 1.02, 2.02, 2.06, 2.07, and 4.01 in order to address Senate Bill 1051. These amendments will establish regulations for accessory dwelling units, modify the definition of needed housing and decrease the time allowable to review certain residential applications. The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 270 Montgomery Street, Woodburn, Oregon. The City Council is scheduled to hold a subsequent hearing to consider the Commission recommendation(s) on the proposal on July 9, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Any interested party may testify at the hearing(s) or submit written testimony on the proposal at or before the hearing(s). The City may accommodate Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) access upon timely request. A summary of LA 2018-02 will be available seven (7) days in advance of the Commission hearing date for viewing at the Community Development Department within City Hall.
