NOTICE OF APPLICATION Pursuant to Section 50.45.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: Beaverton Public Safety Center (ZMA2018-0004) – On July 11, 2018, at 6:30 p.m., the City of Beaverton Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the Beaverton Public Safety Center Zoning Map Amendment. The applicant, City of Beaverton, proposes a Zoning Map Amendment to apply the Community Service (CS) zoning designation to nine (9) parcels that are currently zoned Neighborhood Service (NS). The site is located on the south side of SW Allen Boulevard, between SW Main Avenue and SW Hall Boulevard. The project site is also identified as Tax Lots 100, 200, 500, 602, 701, 1200, 1400, 1700 and 1800 on Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S121AA. The decision-making authority for the above application is the Planning Commission. Any decision on the above development application shall be based on approval criteria as contained in Section Quasi-Judicial Zoning Map Amendment. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, by testifying in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. To be included as part of the Staff Report addressed to the Planning Commission, written comments must be received by Friday, June 29, 2018.
