DOUGLAS COUNTY SALMON HARBOR’S WINCHESTER BAY RV RESORT EXPANSION RV RESORT EXPANSION DESIGN WORK Proposals due: September 6, 2018 @ 11:00 am REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFP #138 July 13, 2018 The Salmon Harbor Recreational Area (Salmon Harbor), a Department of Douglas County, Oregon (County) and administered by the Salmon Harbor Management Committee (SHMC), is requesting Proposals from qualified consultants for the Development of Winchester Bay RV Resort Expansion. SHMC anticipates expanding the Resort up to 40 additional RV sites full-service enhanced (longer and wider to accommodate the larger models of recreational vehicles), supersite(s) that will accommodate more than one recreational vehicle, and an approximate 1000 Sq. ft. restroom/shower/laundry facility with one ADA accessible shower and toilet per women/men side. Contractor will be expected to provide development design plans and alternate plans to optimize layout; provide construction specifications including bid documents for expansion of the Winchester Bay RV Resort and oversee the project. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and REQUIRED SITE WALK THROUGH is planned for Consultants to inspect the property prior to submitting a proposal. Consultants will meet at Salmon Harbor Marina, on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at 100 Ork Rock Road, Winchester Bay, OR at 10:30 a.m. for a site visit. Proposals must be received by the Proposal Administrator, Paul Stallard, Salmon Harbor Marina, Attn: SHMC, 100 Ork Rock Road, P.O. Box 1007, Winchester Bay, OR 97467, no later than 11:00 a.m. on September 6, 2018. RFP’s received after the due date and time will not be considered. Proposals may not be withdrawn after the time set for opening. Offerors must view and obtain solicitation documents from the Douglas County Bid Documents Website: http://www.co.douglas.or.us/Bid_Docume nts The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all responsive proposals, to waive technicalities and to award the contract to the lowest responsible offeror.
