METRO LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE OREGON CONVENTION CENTER Bids due: September 6, 2018 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3561 Metro, acting by and through the appointed Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), is inviting bids for Lighting Control System Improvements for the Oregon Convention Center. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. September 6, 2018 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3541. Bids will be opened publicly at that time. The Contractor awarded this project will provide all labor and materials required to perform the work as described in the ITB, including but not limited to: — Install a new Lutron QS/Quantum lighting control system and related infrastructure for the entire facility; and, — Successfully transition exhibit halls, loading docks and public areas to the new lighting control system. The project includes, but is not limited to: demolition of existing systems; installation of Quantum control server, light management hubs, DMX control interface, switching relays, sensors, cabling, low voltage wiring, and control panels; and programming and training services as required.) A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on August 7, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. in the Oregon Convention Center Operations Meeting Room, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Portland, Oregon. Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
