NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PRINEVILLE CITY COUNCIL The Prineville City Council will conduct a public hearing on the 28th day of August 2018, at 6:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 387 NE 3rd St Prineville, OR. Proposal: To solicit input in regard to the proposed annexation of property owned by the United States (BLM). The property is 160 acres located on the top of Barnes Butte, Map & Tax Lot 14-16-280000700. The purpose of the annexation is to include the property in City limits to allow its inclusion into master planning of the adjacent Barnes Butte Recreation area currently in City limits and owned by the City. The property is currently zoned Exclusive Farm Use (EFU2) in the County and is proposed to be annexed as Park Reserve (PR). The City Planning staff report will be available for public review no later than 7 days prior to the hearing. Copies of the proposal may be obtained at the cost of copying. Persons or parties wishing to present testimony concerning the subject proposal may appear in person at the hearing or may submit written testimony or evidence to the City Planning Department on or before the date of the hearing. Any testimony shall be limited to and must address the standards and criteria relevant to development. FAILURE TO ADDRESS AN ISSUE NOT RELATED TO THE SPECIFIC CRITERIA AND PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO A PROPOSED ACTION, OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUFFICIENT SPECIFICITY AS TO AFFORD THE CITY COUNCIL AN OPPORTUNITY TO RESPOND TO SAID ISSUE PRECLUDES APPEAL ON THAT ISSUE OR ISSUES.
