Public Notice Elliot 2-Lot Partition and Sidewalk Design Modification (LD2018-0028 / SDM2018-0005)

PUBLIC NOTICE Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: Elliot 2-Lot Partition and Sidewalk Design Modification (LD2018-0028 / SDM2018-0005) The applicant, Steve and Leslie Elliot, request Preliminary Partition and Sidewalk Design Modification approval for a proposed two-lot partition of a residential property. The site is located at 10405 SW Davies Road, Tax Lot 01500 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S133BB. The site is within the Residential Urban Standard Density (R7) zoning district and within the South Beaverton Neighborhood Association Committee (NAC). Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in the following sections of the Development Code of the City of Beaverton: 40.45.15.4.C. Preliminary Partition, and 40.58.15.C Sidewalk Design Modification. The decision-making authority for the above applications is the Planning Director, which will review the proposal in accordance with the approval criteria contained in the Beaverton Development Code: Section 40.03 Facilities Review, Section 40.45.15.4.C Preliminary Partition, and Section 40.58.15.C Sidewalk Design Modification. The Facilities Review Committee Meeting with the applicant will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body, but rather, advises the Director on a project’s conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code of the City of Beaverton. The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public, but is not intended for public testimony. Written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:30 pm, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in order to be addressed in the staff report. Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Current Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, of the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, between the hours of 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays. The Director is the decision-making authority for the above application and shall issue a written decision on the above development proposal on or around Wednesday, November 21, 2018 pursuant to Section 50.40.10.
