CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CASE FILE NO.: CU-006-18 Next Level Pinball Shop & Arcade NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Hillsboro Planning and Zoning Hearings Board, at or shortly after 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in the Shirley Huffman Auditorium at the Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, Hillsboro. At this hearing, the Board will consider a request for Conditional Use approval for commercial recreation to operate an all-ages pinball shop and Museum to be located in an existing building within the I-P Industrial Park zone. The applicant does not anticipate any major exterior modifications to the building. A subsequent Development Review application will be required. The property owner is Molly Blue Enterprises, LLC, the applicant is Fred Carlson, Molly Blue Enterprises, LLC, represented by Phil Robinson, PDR Design. The subject property is specifically identified as Tax Lot 400 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1N2-229DD and is generally located north of NE Cornell Road, south of Sunrise Lane, east of NE 25th Avenue and west of the Portland-Hillsboro Airport. The applicable approval criteria for a Conditional Use application may be found in Community Development Code (CDC), Section 12.80.020. All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting and will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposal. Oral testimony will be taken in the following order: applicant; other proponents; opponents; and applicant’s rebuttal.
