CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CASE FILE NO.: CU-005-18 OZARK STREET SHORT TERM RENTAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning and Zoning Hearings Board (PZHB), at or shortly after 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in the Shirley Huffman Auditorium of the Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, Hillsboro, Oregon. At this hearing, the PZHB will consider a request for Conditional Use approval to allow a short term rental located within an existing home on a site approximately 0.17 acres in size. The existing 6-bedroom home has a 6-foot privacy fence, two (2) off-street parking spaces, and sound dampening insulation to help reduce noise. No site improvements are being proposed at this time. The property is owned by Ryan and Sylvia Plaisted and the applicant is Sylvia Plaisted. The subject property is specifically identified as Tax Lot 3000 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1S2-04AD and is generally located north of SE Bentley Street, south of SE Ozark Street, east of SE Brookwood Avenue and west of SE 47th Avenue. The applicable approval criteria for a Conditional Use application may be found in Community Development Code (CDC), Section 12.80.020.
