CITY OF LAKE OSWEGO EAST WALUGA PARK IMPROVEMENTS Bids due: Nov. 7, 2018 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the East Waluga Park Improvements for the City of Lake Oswego will be received by the City’s Project Manager, Bruce Powers at the Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation Office, 17525 Stafford Road, Lake Oswego, Oregon, 97034 until 2:00 p.m., local time, Bid Closing Time on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, and then will be publicly opened and read. Bids will not be accepted after the Bid Closing. Bidders must submit a Bid security to the City along with their Bid in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of their Bid. SCOPE OF WORK: The Work consists of the renovation of East Waluga Park related to replacement of play surfaces within the fenced areas of two baseball fields. This includes concrete curb edge work, subsurface storm collection and treatment systems, minor asphalt paving, and related utility adjustments. City hascontracted for acquisition and installation of the artificial turf through a separate contract, including installation on contractor-provided base. Project Substantial Completion shall be 100 days from Notice to Proceed and Project Final Completion shall be 15 days from Substantial Completion. The Contract Documents may be reviewed, examined, and copies obtained at the Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation Office, 17525 Stafford Road, Lake Oswego, Oregon, 97034 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained: — In person during business hours from Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation Office, 17525 Stafford Road, Lake Oswego, Oregon, 97034, with payment of a non-refundable fee of $35.00; — By mail to Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation Office above, or upon telephonic request (phone: 503.635.0270), upon payment of non-refundable fee of $35.00, an d additional $10.00 to cover postage and handling. — At local Plan Centers; and — Online, by downloading the Contract Documents at www.ci.oswego.or.us/bids/ (If you have website questions concerning this website registration, please call Donna Broadhurst at 503.635.0266.) To receive all notifications, addenda, and view the Planholder’s list, a person or company must create an account and add its individual name or company to the Planholder’s list at www.ci.oswego.or.us/bids/. The City will investigate and determine the qualifications of the apparent low Bidder as part of its evaluation of the lowest responsive Bid. The Contract will be for a Public Works/Public Improvement project subject to Oregon minimum wage rate requirements of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870. Because the City’s estimate of contract value is $100,000 or greater, Bidders must submit a First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form, provided in the Bid Documents, to the City no later than 4:00 pm local time, on the date for receipt of Bids.
