PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS FOR BOTH TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FOR OLDER ADULTS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND PUBLIC TRANSIT DIVISION SECTION 5310 GRANT FUNDS The Crook County Special Transportation Fund agency announces the opportunity for eligible transportation providers to apply for up to $135,400 of Older Adults and People with Disabilities Grant funds and up to $188,431 of federal section 5310 funds. These funds are allocated to the Crook County STF Agency by the Oregon Department of Transportation. Grant applications are for the 2019 -2021 Biennium. Projects providing transportation services for seniors and people with disabilities qualify for grant funding; however, eligible applicants for the 5310 funds must also offer transportation services to the general public. Program guidelines, application instructions and the applications themselves are available at the ODOT Public Transit Division web site: https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/RPTD/Pages/Funding-Opportunities.aspx or at the Crook County Clerk’s office. An additional checklist of applicant and project eligibility criteria can be requested from the Crook County contact listed below. Applications submitted for projects in Crook County must be submitted to Kathy Puckett, Crook County Clerk, 200 NE 2nd Street, Prineville, OR 97754 not later than 5:00 P.M. January 11, 2019. Postmarks will not be accepted as an alternative to receipt by the due date and late applications will not be considered.
