PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Court will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. The hearing will be held in the Crook County Annex Building at 320 NE Court St., Prineville, OR 97754. Central Oregon LandWatch has appealed the Crook County Planning Commission’s approval of a Modification Application filed by RMG Destination LLC, file #217-18-000334-PLNG. The property is identified as approximately 3,243 acres of land zoned EFU-3 with a destination resort overlay. Application CUDES003-06 was approved for a destination resort by the Crook County Planning Commission on June 6, 2007. The physical address of the property is Alfalfa Road, Prineville, Oregon, Township 16S Range 14E Willamette Meridian, Tax Lots 2200, 3900, and 4100; Township 16S Range 15E Willamette Meridian, Tax Lots 2100, 3100, and 3200. The hearing is being held pursuant to Crook County Code Title 18, Section 18.172.110. The hearing before the County Court shall be confined to the record of the proceedings below, as more specifically set forth in Crook County Code Section 18.172.110(12)(a). The Appellant shall provide a copy of the transcript of the relevant portions of the proceedings appealed from the Crook County Planning Commission not less than seven (7) calendar days before the hearing date set by the County Court. A copy of the appeal and all documents and evidence relied upon by the Appellant are available for inspection at no charge, and a copy will be provided at a reasonable cost. Failure of an issue to be raised in a hearing or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue, precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA) based on that issue. Copies of the complete appeal packet to the County Court will be available for public review at least seven (7) days prior to the public hearing at the Crook County Legal Dept. at 203 NE Court St., Prineville, OR 97754.
