NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING: On WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Beaverton Building, located at 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, Oregon, the Planning Commission of the City of Beaverton will consider proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and the Development Code. CPA2018-0007/TA2018-0003, UPAA Plan and Zoning Methodology. This proposal would amend the City Comprehensive Plan and Development Code to establish a method that the City of Beaverton can use to apply city land use and zoning designations to property that annexes from unincorporated Washington County. Specific criteria for the Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment are contained in Section 1.5.1 of the Comprehensive Plan. The specific criteria for Development Code Text Amendments is contained in Development Code Section REPORTS: You may review copies of the staff report and all other documents and evidence submitted in relation to these applications at the City’s Community Development Department public counter, located on the 4th floor of City Hall, on or after January 9, 2019. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday except holidays. The staff report will also be available on the City’s web site at: Subsequent to this hearing, the Planning Commission will convey its recommendation to the City Council. The City Council will make the final decision on the item. Failure to raise an issue prior to or at the Planning Commission meeting, in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the Planning Commission and/or City Council an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to a court of competent jurisdiction on that issue.
