NOTICE OF APPLICATION T-Mobile Monopole Modifications (ADJ2019-0001 / VAR2019-0001 / WF2018-0014)

NOTICE OF APPLICATION Pursuant to Section 50.45.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following application is being provided: T-Mobile Monopole Modifications (ADJ2019-0001 / VAR2019-0001 / WF2018-0014) The applicant requests approval of the following land use applications for a T-Mobile wireless facilities site. A Wireless Facility Type One for modification of an existing wireless communication facility. A Major Modification application to exceed the height limit by 12 feet for a total height of 92 feet, where 80 feet is allowed. A Variance application to reduce the monopole setback to approximately 29 feet, where 97 feet is required. The required setback, from all property lines, for freestanding wireless monopoles is a distance equal to the height of the tower plus five. The site is located at the corner of SW 22nd Street and SW Hall Boulevard. Address: 12555 SW 22nd Street. Tax Lot 12200 of Washington County Assessor Tax Map 1S121AD. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way. The decision-making authority for the above applications are the Planning Commission, which will review the proposal in accordance with the approval criteria contained in Development Code: Section 40.03 for Facilities Review, Section 40.10.15.2.C Major Adjustment, Section 40.95.15.1.C for Variance, and Section 40.96.15.1.C for Wireless Facility One. The Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the above application on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers, First Floor, Beaverton Building. Pursuant to Section 50.88 of the Beaverton Development Code, written comments or exhibits submitted prior to the hearing to be submitted by staff at the hearing must be received by the City Recorder no later than 4:30 p.m. on the day of the scheduled hearing. All submittals that are more than two (2) letter size pages must include no fewer than ten (10) complete copies of the materials being submitted. To be made a part of the staff report, correspondence needs to be received by Friday, January 25, 2019. Copies of the staff report will be available for inspection at the Planning Division Planning Counter or may be purchased at reasonable cost or are available for on-line viewing at www.beavertonoregon.gov. Staff reports are published a minimum of seven (7) calendar days before the date of the initial public hearing.
