CITY OF WEST LINN, OREGON 2019 WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT (PW-18-03) Bids due: Feb. 20, 2019 @2:00 pm INVITATION FOR BID Sealed bids for the 2019 Water Main Replacement Project will be received by Erich Lais, P.E., Assistant City Engineer, at the downstairs Engineering counter at West Linn City Hall, 22500 Salamo Road, West Linn, Oregon, 97068 until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 when bids shall be publicly opened and read. Bids received after 2:00 PM on said day will not be considered. First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure forms shall be submitted not later than 4:00 PM on the same day. Bids shall be clearly marked 2019 Water Main Replacement Project (PW-18-03). Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) days following bid opening. An optional prospective bidders’ conference will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM at West Linn City Hall. Statements made by the City’s representatives at the pre-bid meeting are not binding upon the City unless confirmed by written addendum. This project is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. This water main replacement project generally includes installing new ductile iron pipe, valves, hydrants, and water services with meters. This work must be completed by June 30, 2019. The project plans, specifications and contract provisions may be reviewed at no cost through the City of West Linn’s website at http://bids.westlinnoregon.gov/ or paper copies may be obtained through the City of West Linn Engineering Division at 22500 Salamo Road, West Linn, (503)722-5500, with advanced notice, at a cost of $50.00 per set. If you wish to receive any future addendums for this project please login to the City’s bid management website and add your company to the plan holders list. Questions may also be submitted through the website. The City shall consider no bid unless the bidder is registered with the Oregon Construction Contractor Board and the bidder has complied with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements. The City of West Linn reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to postpone the award for 90 days, to delete certain items from the proposal, and to award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
