NOTICE OF APPLICATION Pursuant to Section 50.45.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following application is being provided: At The Garages Satellite PUB (CU2018-0024) On March 6, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., the City of Beaverton Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider a request by Kent Drangsholt of the Garage Sale Warehouse, to Extend the Hours of Operation for the Garages Satellite Pub from 10:00 pm until 1:00 am daily, seven days per week. Any uses located within 500 feet of residentially zoned property wishing to operate outside of the standard hours of 7:00 am to 10:00 pm require Conditional use approval by the Planning Commission. No physical changes to the site are proposed. The subject site is located at 4810 SW Western Avenue, Tax Lot 100 on Washington County Tax Assessor’s Map 1S115AD. The decision-making authority for the above application is the Planning Commission. Any decision on the above development application shall be based on approval criteria as contained in the Beaverton Development Code, Section 40.03 for Facilities Review, Section 40.15.15.3.C New Conditional Use. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, by testifying in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. To be included as part of the Staff Report addressed to the Planning Commission, written comments must be received by Friday, February 22, 2019. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way. A Facilities Review Committee meeting with the applicant will be held on February 13, 2019. The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body, but advises the Director and Planning Commission on conformity to the technical criteria identified in Section 40.03 of the Beaverton Development Code. The Committee’s recommendation will be included in the staff report addressed to the Planning Commission. The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public but is not the venue for receiving public testimony. The Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the above application on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers, First Floor, Beaverton Building. Pursuant to Section 50.88 of the Beaverton Development Code, written comments or exhibits submitted prior to the hearing to be submitted by staff at the hearing must be received by the City Recorder no later than 4:30 p.m. on the day of the scheduled hearing. All submittals that are more than two (2) letter size pages must include no fewer than ten (10) complete copies of the materials being submitted. Copies of the staff report are available for inspection at the Planning Division Counter or may be purchased at a reasonable cost or are available for online viewing at http://apps.beavertonoregon.gov/DevelopmentProjects/.
