PORT OF PORTLAND ON-CALL FIRE DETECTION AND ALARM PROGRAMMING, SUPPORT AND INSPECTION, AND TESTING SERVICES Responses Due: Mar. 13, 2019 @ 3:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SOLICITATION NUMBER 2019-8362 Sealed solicitations for the provision of On-Call Fire Detection and Alarm Programming, Support and Inspection, and Testing Services will be received electronically at the office of the Manager, Contracts and Procurement, via the Port’s On-line Business Opportunities Vendor Port until the time indicated above. The Port of Portland (Port) is seeking providers capable of providing The Port’s fire detection and alarm system located throughout the Portland International Airport (PDX) campus comprised of 48 Apogee Life Safety (ALS3)/Edwards Systems Technology (EST3), Systems Definition Utility (SDU) Version 5.2, fire alarm control panels (FACPs) connected to five FireWorks workstations. PDX communications center staff is responsible for monitoring and dispatching PDX Fire Department personnel in response to system alarms. More than 13,000 devices are installed in the system, all of which require inspection, testing, and programming. An informational conference will be held at 8:30am, February 28, 2019 in the Tillamook Conference Room at the PDX Conference Center located at 7000 NE Airport Way, Portland Oregon.
