METRO METRO CENTRAL TRANSFER STATION EXTERIOR COATINGS Bids due: April 25, 2019 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3654 Metro, acting by and through the appointed Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), is inviting bids for Metro Central Station (MCS) Exterior Coatings Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. April 25, 2019 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3654. Bids will be opened publicly at that time. The work of this contract will include preparation and coatings for all structures at Metro Central Station identified in the solicitation. This will also include rust removal and patching damaged areas of siding prior to applying new coatings. The Project includes all labor, material, and equipment requirements associated with and necessary for the work. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on April 10, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Metro Central Transfer Station, located at 2001 Washington St, Oregon City, OR 97045. A map, directions for parking, and gathering spot instructions are included with the ITB on ORPIN. All attendees must have a hard hat and safety vest. Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference. Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
