PROPOSED PUBLIC CONTRACTING RULES AND FINDINGS SUPPORTING DESIGNATING CLASSES OF CONTRACTS FOR SPECIAL PROCUREMENT

SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1J, MULTNOMAH COUNTY (PORTLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS) PROPOSED PUBLIC CONTRACTING RULES AND FINDINGS SUPPORTING DESIGNATING CLASSES OF CONTRACTS FOR SPECIAL PROCUREMENT On April 15, 2019 at 6:00 pm, in the auditorium at the Blanchard Education Service Center, 501 N. Dixon, Portland, Oregon, the Board of Directors of School District No. 1J, Multnomah County (Portland Public Schools), acting as the District’s Local Public Contract Review Board, will consider a request to designate certain classes of contracts for goods and services as class special procurements pursuant to ORS 279B.085. The proposed class special procurements are for copyrighted materials and creative works; software and hardware maintenance, licenses, subscriptions, and upgrades; specialized assistive equipment for students; and services, repair, or maintenance services for products under warranty. The special procurements are proposed as part of an update to the District’s Public Contracting Rules.
