NOTICE OF APPLICATION West Point Single Family Detached (TP2019-0003 & SDM2019-0003)

NOTICE OF APPLICATION Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: West Point Single Family Detached (TP2019-0003 & SDM2019-0003) The applicant, Renaissance Homes, has applied for a Type Two Tree Plan in order to remove eight of thirteen protected trees located in a significant grove NX13 in order to construct a single family home. The applicant has also applied for a Sidewalk Design Modification to lessen the width of the sidewalk from the required six feet to five feet wide. The site is located on Tax Lot 2718 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S112BD, on SW West Point Avenue between SW Canyon Lane and SW Linden Road (West Point Park Plat, Block 1, Lot 9). The site is within the Residential Urban Standard Density (R7) zoning district and within the West Slope Neighborhood Association Committee. Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in the following sections of the Beaverton Development Code: Sidewalk Design Modification Section 40.58.15.C and Tree Plan Two Section 40.90.15.2.C. Written comments on the development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in order to be addressed in the staff report. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Current Planning Division, Attn: Brianna Addotta, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. The Director is the decision-making authority for the above application and shall issue a written decision on the above development proposal on or around Wednesday May 14, 2019 pursuant to Section 50.40.10. Copies of the staff report will be made available on the City’s website or may be purchased at the Planning Division Counter for a reasonable cost.
