PORTLAND EXPO CENTER TEMPORARY EVENT UTILITY SERVICES Proposals due: May 2, 2019 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP 3630 Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is hereby requesting sealed proposals for temporary event utility services at Portland Expo Center located at 2060 N Marine Dr, Portland, OR. Sealed proposals are due no later than 2:00 p.m., May 2, 2019, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Jon Deveaux, Procurement Analyst, RFP 3630. Metro has issued this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit responses from service contractors interested in and qualified to provide event utility services to exhibitors, show managers, and other clients of the Portland Expo Center. The successful Proposer under this solicitation must be capable of providing event electrical and utility services to satisfy the most demanding needs of the Portland Expo Center and its clients. The work consists of professional services defined as qualified, prompt, courteous and safe installation of temporary electrical services within an event environment 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Proposals/Bids can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN), at http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/. Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
