NOTICE OF APPLICATION EXT2019-0002 / EXT2019-0004 / EXT2019-0005 (158th and Jay Street Apartments 1st Time Extension)

NOTICE OF APPLICATION Pursuant to Section 50.45.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: EXT2019-0002 / EXT2019-0004 / EXT2019-0005 (158th and Jay Street Apartments 1st Time Extension) The applicant, Doug Circosta, Architect LLC, is seeking a time extension for a previously approved Design Review Two (DR2017-0043), Tree Plan Two (TP2017-0007) and Replat One (LD2017-0007). The applicant is requesting a time extension due to needing more time to obtain project financing. The approvals for the Design Review, Tree Plan and Replat One would have expired on July 19, 2019. The request for a time extension, if approved, would extend the expiration date of the original approval by two (2) years, to July 19, 2021. No changes to the originally approved application are being proposed. The project is located at 1320 and 1350 SW 160th Avenue and 1345 SW 158th Avenue, at the north east corner of SW Jay Street and SW 158th Avenue, described as Tax Lots 1000, 1100, and 1200 of Washington County’s Tax Assessors Tax Map 1S105CB. To be addressed in the staff report and decision, written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the City of Beaverton Planning Division, 4th Floor, Beaverton City Hall, 12725 SW Millikan Way. The decision-making authority for the above application is the Director. Any decision on the above development application shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in Extension of a Decision: Beaverton Development Code Section 50.93. Pursuant to Section 50.40.10, on or around May 15, 2019 the Director shall issue a written decision on the application to the applicant, the property owner, the NAC in which the subject property is located, and interested parties that submitted written comments prior to or on the comment closing date. Copies of the decision will be made available on the City’s website or may be purchased at the Planning Division Counter or a reasonable cost. Copies of documents and evidence submitted by or on behalf of the applicant, applicable review criteria and the staff report, are available for inspection at the City of Beaverton Planning Division, 4th Floor, City Hall, 12725 SW Millikan Way, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
