Public Notice: Advertisement For Bids: Elm Stret – Ochoco Creek Bridge Replacement.

PUBLIC NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The City of Prineville, Oregon, invites Bids for the construction of Elm Street – Ochoco Creek Bridge Replacement – 2019. The Work for this Project consists of constructing a new precast prestressed concrete deck bulb tee girder bridge over Ochoco Creek on Elm Street in Prineville, Oregon. If the Owner elects to include the Bid Option, the Work will also include installation of a new weathering steel truss pedestrian bridge over Ochoco Creek at Court Street. The Work for the Elm Street Bridge includes, but is not limited to, removal of the existing timber bridge, installation of approximately 980 feet of steel pipe piling, 117 cubic yards (CY) of structural concrete, creek channel improvements, 684 feet of 36-inch deck bulb tee girders, 175 feet of ornamental bridge rail with lighting, 4,290 square feet of sidewalks, 1,400 tons of aggregate base rock, 600 tons of asphalt concrete pavement (ACP), and other Work as specified and/or shown on the Drawings. The Work for the Bid Option includes, but is not limited to, installation of approximately 148 feet of steel pipe piling, 18 CY of structural concrete, furnishing and installation of an 80-foot long prefabricated weathering steel truss pedestrian bridge with a concrete deck, 120 tons of aggregate base rock, 60 tons of ACP, and other Work as specified and/or shown on the Drawings. Sealed Bids for the described Project will be received by Lori Ontko, Procurement/Contract Administrator, City of Prineville, Oregon, 387 N.E. Third Street, Prineville, Oregon 97754, until 2:00 p.m., local time, May 23, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. This Project is being funded by the Oregon Department of Transportation State-Funded Local Project Program. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
