CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CASE FILE NO.: MOD-002-19 REED’S CROSSING PHASE 1B NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Hillsboro Planning Commission, at or shortly after 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, in the Shirley Huffman Auditorium of the Hillsboro Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, Hillsboro, Oregon. At this hearing, the Commission will consider a request for a Major Modification to the Reed’s Crossing Planned Unit Development, a 463-acre site being developed in phases. This Major Modification (Case File No.: MOD-002-19) is requesting concept plan and preliminary plat approval for Phase 1B which is approximately 28.80 acres in size. This application includes changes to the approved Phase 1 Concept Plan to reflect the revised design of Phase 1B; a Phase 1B subdivision preliminary plat; consolidated Development Review approval for attached townhomes and triplex units; and Major and Minor Adjustments to the lot development standards for the MFR-1 Multi-Family residential zone and the SFR-6 and SFR-4.5 single family residential zones. Site improvements include but are not limited to: frontage along SE 67th Avenue and SE Kinnaman Street; a north-south trail that runs from the Greenway to SE Kinnaman Street; pedestrian connections; lighting; signalization; turn lanes; medians; on-street parking; traffic islands; paving; curbs and gutters; sidewalks; bikeways; and storm drainage systems. The property owner is GLC South Hillsboro, LLC, and the applicant’s representative is Mimi Doukas, AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC. The subject properties can be specifically identified as a portion of Tax Lot 2000 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1S2-11 and Tax Lot 200 on Tax Map 1S2-10DA, and are generally located southeast of the intersection of SE Blanton Street and SE 67th Avenue.
