Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: HERTZ RENTAL CAR PARKING LOT DR2019-0022 / LD2019-0006 The applicant, JPR Consulting, requests Design Review Two approval for the construction of a rental car parking lot only accessible to Hertz employees and, Replat 1 to consolidate two existing lots. The site is located at 13935 SW Farmington Road, flag lot fronting on SW Farmington Road, west of SW 142nd Avenue, Tax Lots 1004 and 1100 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S116BD. The site is zoned General Commercial (GC) and is within the Central Beaverton Neighborhood Association Committee. Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in the following sections of Development Code of the Beaverton: 40.03 Facilities Review, Design Review Two and Replat One. The Facilities Review Committee Meeting with the applicant will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019. The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body but advises the Director on a project’s conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code of the City of Beaverton. The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public, but is not intended for public testimony. Written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in order to be addressed in the staff report. Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Current Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. The Director is the decision-making authority for the above application and shall issue a written decision on the above development proposal on or around Wednesday, July 17, 2019, pursuant to Section 50.40.10.
