PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The City of Madras will be holding Public Hearings, as required by City of Madras Ordinance No. 864. A Public Hearing has been scheduled before the City of Madras Planning Commission in order to receive testimony or comments on: – Rezone application, Conditional Use application, and Site Plan Review application submitted by Laurie Lynn Kraus Living Trust. The subject property is located in Township 11, Range 13, Section 11DB, and is known as Tax Lot 2800. STANDARDS AND APPLICABLE CRITERIA: These land use applications will be reviewed using the criteria for Conditional Use and Site Plan Approval in the following sections of the Statewide Land Use Planning Goals 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, and 12; Oregon Administrative Rule 660-12-060; Oregon Administrative Rule 660-018-000; City of Madras Comprehensive Plan; City of Madras Zoning Ordinance, No. 864: Section 3.5.1 – Corridor Commercial (C-1); Section 4.8-Site Plan Approval, Article 6-Conditional Uses, and Article 9-Administrative Provisions. Finally, the City of Madras will be holding legislative public hearings before the Madras Planning Commission and the Madras City Council on the proposed rezoning of a property from Multi-Family Residential (R-2) to Corridor Commercial (C-1), and the proposed development of a self-storage facility, which is a Conditional Use in the C-1 zone.
