METRO CONCRETE SLAB REPAIRS Bids due: August 29, 2019 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3720 Metro is inviting bids for Concrete Slab Repairs at Metro Central Transfer Station. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. August 29, 2019 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3720. Bids will be opened publicly at that time. The project consists of two large areas for replacement of interior and exterior concrete surfaces. The interior surface area is approximately 20,000 square feet total and will be completed in four phases of 5000 square feet each. The exterior surface area is approximately 7000 square feet. The site operates 363 days a year, so each repair area needs to be completed within the time constraints described for that area. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on August 7, 2019 at 9:00 am at Metro Central Station, 6161 NW 61st Street, Portland, Oregon. Contractors shall meet near the Recology office at the station entrance. Attendance at the pre-bid is strongly advised due to the site conditions, access, and operational impacts. Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference. Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
