PUBLIC NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in the Crook County Meeting Room, 320 NE Court Street, Prineville, Oregon to consider the following: Hidden Canyon Destination Resort – Final Development Plan RMG Destination, LLC (applicant/owner) – Record number 217-19-000370-PLNG – is requesting final development plan approval for the Hidden Canyon destination resort (CU-DES-003-06), originally approved by the Crook County Planning Commission in 2007. The Planning Commission approved modifications to the tentative plan in November 2018 (217-18-000334-PLNG). The proposed final development plan will be reviewed subject to the requirements of Crook County Code 18.116 (Destination Resort Overlay) and 18.180 (Transportation Impact Analysis). The subject property is identified as T 16S, R 14E WM, Tax lots 2200, 3900, and 4100 and T16S, R 15E WM, Tax lots 2100, 3100 and 3200. Conditional Use – Solar Photovoltaic Facility Ron Raasch (owner) and Jacob Stephens (applicant/agent) – Record number 217-19-000378-PLNG – is requesting a conditional use permit to construct and operate a photovoltaic (PV) solar power generation facility on up to 320 acres. Commercial energy facilities are allowed as conditional uses under Crook County Code 18.24.020 and Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS 215.283) and are subject to review under Crook County Code 18.160 (Conditional Uses) and 18.161 (Commercial Power Generating Facilities. The property is identified as Township 15 S, Range 15 E WM, tax lot 1223. A notice of public hearing and location maps are being mailed to all affected property owners, and to the appropriate entities and public agencies at least 20 days prior to the Crook County Planning Commission making a decision on this request. Statements will be heard at the hearing. The hearing is being held pursuant to Crook County Code 18.172. Written testimony may be submitted to the Crook County Community Development Department, 300 NE 3rd Street, Room 12, Prineville, Oregon 97754, prior to 4:00 p.m. on August 21, 2019, or at the hearing.
